Clovis Point Capital Hires Brian Bergeron as Partner and Matthew Hibbetts as Chief Financial Officer

Clovis Point Capital (“Clovis Point”), a growth equity investment firm focused on enterprise software companies, today announced the hires of Brian Bergeron as Partner and Matthew Hibbetts as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Bergeron joins Clovis Point from CPaT Global, a current Clovis Point Capital portfolio company, where he served as President. In his new role, Mr. Bergeron will lead the firm’s Portfolio Services Group, which works with management teams to drive value creation and execution.  With over 20 years of experience in executive operational and financial roles, Mr. Bergeron has devoted his career to working with development-stage companies with private equity sponsors specializing in SaaS-based software solutions.

Clovis Point also hired Matt Hibbetts as Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to joining Clovis Point, Matt was the Chief Financial Officer at Salient Partners, L.P., a Houston asset management firm focused on alternative investments, where he led both the corporate finance and fund accounting teams, as well as the firm’s strategic projects. Previously, Matt was the Director of Financial reporting at The Sterling Group, a Houston middle market private equity firm. Matt began his career in the Investment Management division at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
